Parkway Bungalow

This Oak Park home was built over 100 years ago and needed to be modernized for our client's lifestyle. This full-scope home renovation included the removal of a back exterior wall that was separating the original kitchen from the sunroom. Robin opened up the kitchen, giving the client more counter space, storage and connecting it to an open breakfast room.

A soothing color palette of grays and blues was used to breathe life into this now bright and airy space. Custom cabinetry, unique furnishings and fixtures help make the space feel historic and timeless while feeling modern and new. Robin also updated the bathroom and mudroom with better-insulated windows and insulation for Chicago winters.
