Smith Mountain Lake

A beautiful home for a longstanding client of R Titus Designs. Robin designed her winter home in Palm Beach and was thrilled to be entrusted to design her lake house. Our client purchased this two-story Smith Mountain Lake condo to downsize from their city home. Going from a large home to a condo can be a huge change and Robin was focused on making each room feel larger.

The master ensuite was tiny so Robin reimagined the hall bath to a smaller footprint so she could give her client a full master walk-in closet. She added an antique door to the stairs entry closet to bring in character. She constructed a custom desk with requested storage solutions that hideaway printers and other home office supplies. The slow pace of lake living was a challenge but also provided inspiration from the busyness of the city.
